HONDA certified pre-owned vehicles website

INSIGHT AND OPPORTUNITY

Through research, we learnt that users had grown to become fairly familiar with the concept of CPO – the site didn’t need to explain that. What users really care about is finding a car to fall in love with: the right color, the right model, the interior and styling, the features and technology…at the price they wanted…not very different from the how they’d look for a new vehicle.

This site does exactly the kinds of things I actually do when I’m shopping for vehicles.

DESIGN

After exploring various design directions, we landed on a look and feel that accomplished how the site should function, while maintaining a consistent look and feel of the Honda ecosystem. Design and UX worked closely to generate layout, functionality and design.

This is exactly what the category has always lacked: a website that makes comparisons simple, while providing an online shopping experience that makes finding a vehicle fun and easy.

ENHANCING THE SITE

We wanted to incorporate lifestyle photography throughout the site to make the pages feel more human and attainable. Our strategic use of video assets will add movement to the pages and help explain/demonstrate various products.

We want to show a diverse range of people who are happy and at ease during the shopping/buying process. We’ll also show these satisfied customers after they’ve left the dealership, using their HCPV during their day-to-day activities.

THE END RESULT

We created a future friendly site that's responsive; added new features: Inventory alerts, Compare vehicles, and the ability to share favorite vehicles; as well as enhancing the imagery/videos within the site and payment calculator & Offers.
